Dictionary.com defines, “Real-Time” as an adjective meaning: ‘of or relating to computer systems that update information at the same rate as they receive data, enabling them to direct or control a process such as an automatic pilot’. In terms of a state department of agriculture’s regulatory process, “Real-Time” capabilities effectively eliminate data entry as product registrations, license renewals and field enforcement activities, delivered electronically, update the state database as if on “auto-pilot”. This technology is available from KRSNetwork for only a fraction of the costs involved in developing the system internally.
